Serendipity
Anything worthwhile along the way happened because of the people I met and was curious to learn from, the places I went to and was excited to visit, and the situations I found and tackled far out of my comfort zone.
Exposure
Italian-born, I have lived, studied and worked in Norway, the UK, the US,
Denmark, Canada, Vietnam, China and many more. I have studied a lot, but
never enough. I have taught to students and executives who taught me
more in return. I got my brain dirty with theory and my hands with
practice.
Perspective
I
have worked and continue to work as an academic, a scientist, a
management consultant, an interim C-level executive, a business angel
and a start-up founder. I have worked with start-ups and small, medium
and large enterprises. I have experienced designing strategy and
executing it in over 40 sectors and counting, from glass-blowing to
nuclear energy and everything in between.
Inspiration
I
wrote a book on the future of management based on interviews with Nobel
Laureates and Management Gurus such as Kaplan, Martin, Kotler, Gardner,
etc. I founded an international scientific journal on Global Operations
and Strategic Sourcing which is published by one of the world's leading
publishers of management research.
Results
Wearing all these hats, I have generated millions for my clients, investors, co-shareholders, partners, and even myself through designing optimizations, managing turnarounds, devising strategies, solving problems, or capturing new opportunities. Results count, always.
